Special gentle cleaning agents delicately surround the soil and lift it to the surface. When the rug dries, normal vacuuming will remove it from the carpet. Use at a rate of 1 to 2 ounces per gallon of water and apply with a brush. Due to the many types of dyes and fabrics, always perform a test for colorfastness before cleaning. Perform your test in an inconspicuous area of the rug.
