- Big Gun 40 is the
maximum strength wax stripper and is our most
powerful wax and finish remover. It’s
designed to cut through heavy finish buildup
fast. And, its low foam formula is perfect for
application with auto-scrubbers.
- READ BEFORE USING
- 1. This is a highly
aggressive formula. Read precautions below.
- 2. Dilute before
using. DO NOT use on painted surfaces or wooden
floors. Test for softening or color bleeding
before stripping linoleum, rubber or asphalt tile
as stripper may cause bleaching, softening, or
bleeding.
- 3. Rinse immediately
with water and pick up. Wipe up any spills or
splashes from baseboards or painted surfaces.
- NOTE: For
stripping or maintaining asbestos-containing
tile, follow OSHA or EPA guidelines.
- DIRECTIONS FOR
USE:
- 1. Dust mop floor.
- 2. To remove heavy
build-up (up to 40 coats of burnished finish)
dilute 1 part stripper to 5 parts water.
- For medium build-up
(up to 20 coats of burnished finish) dilute 1
part stripper to 10 parts water.
- For light build-up
(up to 10 coats of burnished finish) dilute 1
part stripper to 20 parts water.
- 3. Before applying to
entire floor, test stripper on a small,
inconspicuous area.
- 4. Apply a liberal
amount of solution to floor area. Permit solution
to remain on floor for 3-5 minutes. Do not allow
- solution to dry on
floor.
- 5. Scrub thoroughly
with machine and stripping pad. Then pick up
solution.
- 6. Rinse thoroughly
with clear water until all stripper residue is
removed from the floor.
- A minimum of two
rinses is recommended. Use a neutralizing agent
in the final rinse.
- 7. Allow floor to dry
before applying finish.
