Prep
200 Dye Prep Prep 200 is a high strength, high quality pre-wetting agent similar to formulas used by carpet mills to prep nylon face yarns for maximum dye acceptance. Prep 200 also contains a special wetting agent to aid the dye in penetrating through traditional stain blocking applications. Contains no inhibitor products such as as oils, fragrances or silicones. Use 1 to 3 ounces of Prep 200 per gallon of water for portable equipment of 32 ounces per 5 gallons water in truckmounted equipment. For best results always clean the carpet with Prep 200 and hot water just prior to dyeing. This will clean and prepare nylon fibers for maximum acceptance. Do not add Prep 200 directly in with dye solution or mix with other chemicals. Do not exceed recommended usage. Prep 200 is made for Nylon fibers only. pH: 12.5 to 13 |

Chlorid Chlorine bleach neutralizer. ChloRid is a dry crystal product that has to be diluted with water to activate. After dilution pour product over the bleached area to neutralize any trace of chlorine that remains prior to dyeing carpet. This product will allow carpet to be dyed after it has been bleached by chlorine. ChlorRid helps prevent damage to carpet ad fabrics from chlorine bleach on contact. Dissolve 4 to 6 tablespoons of ChloRid per 1/2 gallon water. Pour or spray over bleached area. Be careful to saturate the stained area. Treated area should be rinsed and adjust pH to neutral or acidic prior to dyeing carpet. |

Surely Dye Set and Debrowning Agent Surely is a mild acid product that removes browning, most tannin stains, neutralizes alkali residues and serves as an overall acid spotter. Surely is a mild acidic solution that should be used to stabilize dyes prior to cleaning carpets, fine fabrics and upholstery. Surely can be used for applications where sours are normally employed. Surely contains a low pH spotting agent that is safe and effective on all browning problems. It also removes most tannin stains. For yellowing problems dilute one part Surely to one part water and spray at a rate of 200 sq. ft. per gallon. To restore fiber that has "browned", mix one part Surely to 4 parts of water. Apply with a sponge and blot with a clean cloth. To prevent browning on a suspect carpet add 3 to 4 ounces of Surely per gallon of detergent used. If browning reoccurs, use a fan to force dry the fabric after applying Surely to the browned areas. To stabilize dyes use one ounce of Surely per gallon water and apply liberally. Rinsing is not necessary. pH: 2 |
